THE MARAUDERS

And yes I know it's spelt wrong as the user name!

Marauders?!:

In the 1970's a group of young wizards formed a group that would be remembered in history as some of the most trickest and greatest wizards known to date. They were known as the Marauders and they truely consited of young men- James Potter (the later father of Harry Potter, the boy who lived), Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew. Other people came to be associated with the Marauders like Lilly Evans, Severus Snape, Lucius Malfloy, ect. The age of the Marauders was an age of fun and excitement.

But in 1981 the Marauders were forever divided as the death of young married couple James and Lilly, leaving Sirius in the evil prison of Azkaban, James and Lilly's son Harry an orphan with only his evil aunt and uncle to take care of him, and the real evil doer Peter to run around free as his animal form- a rat.

Why?

Because I love the Marauders! They are my favorite 'Harry Potter' characters and I'm sure that millions out there love them as much as I do. But I love the whole group rather then just one, I can't choose just one character for my favorite I just love all the marauders so I decided if all of us Marauders lovers could get togther we could pull our efforts to celebrate our favorite characters!

Contest Time:

1. Well since we are starting I guess I should come up with a cool contest huh? Well I call this contest It's a Marauders Family: The Marauders were like a family and I would like to see a picture dipicting your ideas about the whole idea of family with the Marauders. Fan characters are welcome but only if accompanied by an original character from the books. This can be a picture, a story, or a drawing. What ever your mind can come up with.
Deadline: December 31st (May change if no one gets up to do this because I do want people to do something. I'm thinking of giving people special privilages for thier participation like being an artist of the month or something or giving a chance at a request from one of our members if they want to do it.)

2. We need a more original avatar, I make one of my own but I'm thinking maybe if someone can come up with something better I'm willing to make it into a contest.

3. We also need an Id, so if someone wants to start working on that it would be cool.
